Newly Restored African House Murals Return to Natchitoches, Louisiana
For the past year, Clementine Hunter's iconic African House murals have been painstakingly restored by the experts at Whitten & Proctor in Houston, Texas. With the restoration complete, the murals are now being exhibited in the newly constructed Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum in Natchitoches, Louisiana as the African House undergoes its own restoration.
