Gilley’s Gallery is pleased to announce our participation in the exhibit, Emerson Bell: A Tribute at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. Emerson Bell was a painter and sculptor from South Baton Rouge who was the first artist-in-residence in the East Baton Rouge Parish schools to be supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. Featured in the exhibit is twelve remarkable sculptures and paintings from the Gilley’s Gallery collection. Emerson Bell: A Tribute opens March 27 and runs through June 21 at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum’s Colonnade Gallery. A formal opening is slated for March 27 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
