A collection of Sister Gertrude Morgan’s artwork belonging to poet and performer, Rod McKuen were used to illustrate this book of bible verses titled "God's Greatest Hits.” A selection of the books were given to the artist to paint on. This is one of those copies. Here she paints herself as the self proclaimed "Bride of Christ" with her hand on Christ's shoulder. A multitude of angels hover around them.
