Robert Rucker

Steamboats in the Snow

Oil on Canvas
20 x 24 in

The steamboat was one of Robert Rucker's most beloved subjects. In fact, a love of steamboats ran in the family, as both of Rucker's grandfathers were steamboat captains. Over his career, Rucker rose to prominence in no small part because of his idyllic depictions of steamboats on Louisiana waterways.
