Born December
4, 1861, Canterbury, Kent, England. Studied under Sir Thos.
Sidney Coopers, Cooper Gallery, Canterbury; South Kingston
branch of Canterbury. He later migrated to Canada from England
where he traveled as a scenic painter.
In 1911 he visited
New Orleans and returned several years later, staying until
1936, when he moved to Charleston, North Carolina. He was
noted for his French Quarter courtyards. Water colors; Landscapes,
